Dear Lucy Thomas,
In my continued efforts to defend the human rights of not only your service user, DC but my own and that of my immediate family, I must attempt to break free from Local Authorities and their representatives.
In the near future I will be sharing our contextual lived experience in an attempt to do so.
As I write this Right of Reply to you I am unsure at which level of authority the closing of ranks we are experiencing disappears. With this being the case I cannot inform you of who will receive my narrative although I will continue to use the proper procedure, working my way through the correct people and offices to not only reinstate our basic human rights but to cooperate with bureaucracy also.
To summarise, I will be claiming that whilst conducting yourself at work you have taken little to no regard of The Equality Act, The Mental Health Act, The Mental Capacity Act or The Care Act. The well known associated consequences of such conduct are far reaching, inhumane and for numerous reasons deserve addressing.
I will claim the following when conducting conversations regarding yourself.
1. You attended the MDT at Carelton Clinic, Carlisle that was conducted 28 days after DC
had been sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
2. In the MDT you were informed by Valerie Proven that a recent scan of DC’s brain
(2019) showed a substantial brain deterioration when compared with a previous scan in 2017. I will claim that you had to assume this was correct as Valerie Proven did not provide yourself or any person present a copy of the scan.
3. During and following the MDT you disagreed with the decision that DC should be
housed in a care home as this could have a “detrimental effect on her wellbeing”.
To date, I am not aware that you challenged the above decision on behalf of DC, given the
lack of any known challenge I will be claiming that you did not challenge a decision you knew to be wrong and instead turned a blind eye to your service user being incorrectly placed in a care home, with catastrophic results.
